Make Memories at Family Game Night

Make Memories at Family Game Night

Keith Weatherwax

There’s something special about gathering around a table, sharing laughter, and diving into a game that brings everyone together. At Contrarian’s Game Cafe, we believe in the power of play to connect people of all ages—and that’s exactly what our Family Game Night is all about.

All ages are welcome, regardless of prior board game experience. Bring your family and friends for a new twist on your Saturday night—you’ll discover games, enjoy good company, and create lasting memories together.

We curate a selection of family-friendly and party-style board games that are easy to learn and endlessly entertaining. You might find yourself in a fast-paced round of Uno, where quick thinking and a little luck can turn the tide in an instant. Or maybe you’ll be crafting hilarious phrases with magnetic word tiles in Ransom Notes, or trying to guess the perfect shade in the vibrant world of Hues and Cues.

For those who love wordplay and quick thinking, Tapple offers a rapid-fire challenge that’s sure to get everyone shouting answers. If you’re in the mood for something sweet and silly, Happy Mochi is a delightful choice for younger players and the young at heart. And for groups of families and friends looking for a more grown-up game night, we also offer Cards Against Humanity and Tapple After—offering a spirited, grown-up spin on the classic word game that guarantees plenty of laughs.

While the event is completely free to attend, we do encourage guests to reserve a free ticket online here. This helps us ensure we have enough seating and games available for everyone to enjoy. And of course, our café will be open throughout the evening, offering a variety of snacks and drinks to keep your energy up between rounds.

At Contrarian’s, we’re more than just a game cafe—we’re a community hub where people come together to share experiences, make memories, and have a great time. So, mark your calendar, gather your crew, and join us for a night of laughter, connection, and good old-fashioned fun.
