Why do a ladies' game night?

We opened Contrarian's Game Cafe with the idea of removing barriers for people to enjoy tabletop gaming and great coffee. It's important for us then to create time and space for those in our community that are underrepresented.

Do I need to bring anything?

While you are welcome to bring some of your favorite games if you'd like you don't need to bring anything with you.

What is the cost?

No cost and no purchase required! Most of our events are free and we want anyone that wants to come to not have to worry about breaking their budget.

Can my husband, boyfriend, best male friend come with me?

They are welcome to come with you to the store, but we do ask any persons who identify as male not participate directly with the event. It's important the event stays centered on creating a comfortable space.

The event starts at 6:00PM what if me and my friends want to show up early?

No problem! We will make every effort to find you a table and get the event going early.

Is this happening every month?

That is the plan, the second Saturday of every month will be reserved for Ladies' Game Night.
