The Grizzled

It's August of 1914, and the Great War is raging on the Western Front. The battles are intense, and the weather has been harsh. Surviving this war will take strategy, luck, and the help of some good friends.

In The Grizzled, you work as a team to face the trials of war. Each round you'll face hardships, such gas attacks, blizzards, or even traumas that stay with you. If a threat appears too many times, the team fails their current mission. Only a unit that works together will be able to survive until Armistice Day.

In The Grizzled: Armistice Edition, you take on the role of soldiers facing the Trials and Hard Knocks of the first World War. You work cooperatively across a campaign where you confront the major events of the war. From the introduction scenario of Boot Camp, through the nine different Missions, everything that happens carries forward and affects the next steps of the game. You will need to make good decisions and support each other if they hope to make it to the end of the war alive.

In The Grizzled: At Your Orders, you are introduced to Mission cards, allowing you to set the difficulty level of your turns. This expansion to The Grizzled, also introduces alternate rules for two-player and solo games, so you can fight for freedom, no matter your numbers. You also receive new standees to represent their characters.

We Care – A Grizzled Game, inspired by world events from 2020, puts players deep in the trenches as Healthcare Professionals battling a terrible disease. Working together, players must use their limited resources wisely. The stress of the job is a constant worry, as is possibly contracting the illness themselves. Based on the best-selling The Grizzled game, part of the proceeds from sales will go to Doctors Without Borders, letting players actually fight against the real-world pandemic.
